Jeanie leads retreats that inform and educate about practical, relational spirituality. In the upcoming retreat season of 2004-2005, she will be leading retreats on the topics of "Letting Your Light Shine" and "Choosing Life". She will also be leading retreats and teaching about Centering Prayer. She will be teaching a weekday Bible study on the book of Isaiah at River Oaks Baptist Church, as well as weekday Bible studies at Bering Church of Christ and St. Luke's Methodist Church, all in Houston. She also teaches an adult Bible study at River Oaks Baptist Church on Sunday mornings. 

She calls her Bible studies "relational Bible studies" because they are intended to facilitate the relationship between God and the person, with the agenda being an enhancement of the person's relationship with others. She uses a conversational method of teaching, and has developed studies on the Gospel of John, the Sermon on the Mount, the Parables of Jesus, Genesis and Exodus, the Psalms, Galatians, Ephesians, Phillipians and Colossians, Acts, Job, the book of Luke, the Nature and Work of the Holy Spirit and Encounters with Jesus. 

Jeanie will also be facilitating a growth group, based on a book-in-process, Joining Forces: Healing the Feminine/Masculine Self, process she has been teaching, writing and speaking about for almost twenty years and for which she has deep passion. She leads a workshop or retreat on the process of transformation through suffering in the book of Job, as well as numerous offerings, using the life of Jesus and the book of Psalms. She has led numerous workshops and retreats on the processes of recovery from codependency, the discovery of gifts and calling, the healing of loss, emotions and memories. Jeanie's "basic" retreat or workshop offering is "The Process of Spiritual Growth", in which she provides a lifeline of spiritual formation, discusses the True Self, what it means to be made in the image of God, the joint venture between God and the individual that facilitates the growth of the True Self, the barriers to the True Self and ways of overcoming the barriers.
