Trained as a curriculum writer for Bible studies, Jeanie has written numerous articles, teaching procedures and background study guides for Guidepost Bible Commentaries, Smyth and Helwys Publishing and other publishers. She was a Teaching Director for Community Bible Studies and currently teaches weekday Bible studies in Houston, Texas, for which she writes her own curriculum.
Jeanie has prepared and taught year-long studies on the following: the Gospel of John, Isaiah, the Life and Teachings of Christ, the Sermon on the Mount, the Parables of Jesus, Genesis and Exodus, the Psalms, Galatians, Ephesians, Phillipians and Colossians, Acts, Job, the Gospel of Luke, the Nature and Work of the Holy Spirit, the Women of the Bible. Using her books, CHRISTHEART and BECOMING FIRE, she has taught year-long studies on "Encounters with Jesus". She has prepared and taught a year-long study entitled, "Joint Venture: God, the Bible and Your Life," which is being adapted in her new book, JOINT VENTURE: PRACTICAL SPIRITUALITY FOR EVERYDAY PILGRIMS, which will be released in the spring of 2010. Most recently, she taught a yearlong study, "Dance Lessons: Moving to the Beat of God's Heart."
